7 - The Pet PoetI remember when Mommy bought you
a black-haired pet for your sweet sixteenth.
Its bronze collar said its name was "Poet."
You fed it noise from the out-of-tune piano,
intense moments involving flesh and razors,
and the occasional walk by the lake.

At first, he knew only the wolf's howl,
purging blood and flames onto the carpets.
Everywhere was a smell of extravagance --
like that woman's cheap perfume on the train to work.
But you cried a little less,
smiled a bit more.
And that was when Daddy stopped
trying to send it back to the shelter.

Soon, you even started watching T.V.
(and enjoyed food, dressed nice, made friends.)
But T7 - The Pet Poet by ~Beast-Mode-On
Dreams of RealityIt was a fantasy dream
Wandering around the convention halls
Looking at paintings and art works
All standing in a row

I stood there and looked at the stairs
Where you put my art work, staring
Staring down the hallway
It's like something you ask for

You see it there, all dancing for you
The beat of the music, through your body
A deep breath of reality
The fantasy shining for you

 --- It was just a dream
 --- This fantasy reality, just a dream

If only, the dream could be real
But you know it is but -- a long hallway
Drifting in and out, and as you walk
Slowly to the end, a bell tolls

Reminding you
  -- Life life life
  -- Dreams and reDreams of Reality by =wdnest
Year OneUnderneath the pier Electro is staring blankly into the waves of the ocean letting the sounds hit his ears, until Isis comes up from behind him to break him out of this trance.
Isis: What are you doing?
Electro: Thinking
Isis: About what?
Electro: You know it’s been about a year since we first met?
Isis: Really? That long? Time must have really flown by since that night.
Electro:  Yea. Who knew the same girl pointing a gun to my face would be some sort of a roommate?
Isis: Probably the same who thought a crazy alien would make a good roommate as well.
Electro: Did you hear that?
Isis shoots him a disgusted look

bruises things I touch
purples them in spring
when my fire sounds
lilac in fury

to push the angry
past tomorrow
